Central Door Solutions has been headquartered in Plover, Wisconsin since 2004, with a second location in New Berlin opened in 2013. We're veteran-owned, family-oriented, and built specifically for the kind of specialty commercial work most overhead door companies turn away.
Our shop runs 12,000 square feet of parts and materials, 35 employees, and 25 wrapped service trucks — the depth to design a full dock system and install it clean. We install for 23 Home Depot locations across the state, work with farms and food processors from Stevens Point to Chippewa Falls, and have earned approved government vendor status.
A predictable, four-step process built on 20+ years of industry experience and refined for commercial facilities that can't afford downtime.
2 to 3 people are always answering our phones. Tell us what you have, what you need, and when you need it working.
We come to your facility, measure the pit, evaluate the door and approach, and spec the right leveler, seal, bumpers and restraint for your traffic.
Free, itemized, and firm — with brand, model, install timeline and value-engineered options laid out clearly for approval.
Our trained install team performs the work, cycle-tests every component, and walks your team through operation before we leave.
We work with McGuire, Multifab and Nova for dock equipment, and pair it with the high-speed and sectional doors that keep your dock sealed, safe and moving.
Bridge the gap between your facility and delivery trucks with dock levelers selected and installed for your loading needs.
Help protect your loading area from the elements while accommodating a range of trailer sizes.
Create a snug seal around docked trailers to help reduce drafts, weather exposure, and energy loss.
Help keep trailers secured at the dock during loading and unloading for safer daily operations.
Every facility has different loading requirements. Central Door Solutions helps you select and install dock levelers, shelters, seals, and vehicle restraints suited to your layout, trailer traffic, and daily operations.
Our head business partner is a veteran, and many of our employees are retired or active-duty. Discipline, follow-through, and respect for the job are non-negotiable.
Airplane hangar doors, custom retrofits, complete dock systems — the extravagant jobs other overhead door companies decline are the ones we love.
We keep 2 to 3 people on the phones and enough service technicians to make things happen. No voicemail black hole when your dock goes down.
Central Door Solutions has been in business since 2004. Ownership brings 30 years of overhead door experience, backed by 35 employees and a highly trained install team.
"Called Central Door when our main dock leveler failed mid-shift. They had a tech onsite the next morning, gave us a straight quote, and had the replacement in and cycle-tested inside a week. This is the team we're calling from now on."
"We had two other overhead door companies pass on the custom retrofit we needed. Central Door came out, spec'd it, and got the whole dock opening rebuilt without any drama. Clean install, honest pricing."
"They handle our fire door drop testing every year and installed our high-speed door and dock seal package last winter. Always a real person on the phone, always show up when they say they will."
Our primary install radius is 50 miles from Plover, Wisconsin, which covers Stevens Point, Wisconsin Rapids, Wausau, Marshfield, Waupaca and the surrounding communities. From there we regularly travel to Chippewa Falls, Eau Claire, north to Iron Mountain, MI, and — through our New Berlin location — into the Milwaukee metro. If you're in Central or Eastern Wisconsin, call us.
For dock levelers, seals and shelters we install Multifab, McGuire and Nova. For dock doors and high-speed applications we work with Clopay, Wayne Dalton, Hormann, Cornell Cookson, Performance Doors, Midland, LiftMaster and Nice. We spec the right brand and model for your traffic, cycle count and environment.
Yes. Widening existing dock openings, re-doing the opening one day and installing the new door the next, custom builds — this is exactly the kind of specialty work we were built for. When another overhead door company tells you the retrofit is too complicated, that's when we'd like the call.
Free estimates on all projects, residential and commercial. We come out, measure the pit, evaluate your traffic and building, and put together a firm written quote with itemized options. Pricing isn't given over the phone because dock projects vary too much — a site visit produces a number you can actually build a budget around.
Yes. We're certified for fire door drop testing and reporting to the Brycer third-party system, and we work with fire departments across the region. If your facility has fire-rated door assemblies, we can test, certify, service and — if needed — install replacements.
